General Information
Omagari Hanabi is the collective name for a series of fireworks displays organized by the Omagari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Daisen City. Three official events are held each year: the Spring Chapter, the National Fireworks Competition (in summer), and the Autumn Chapter.
The National Fireworks Competition is one of Japan’s most prestigious fireworks events, where top hanabi artists from across the country compete in artistry, technique, and creativity. First held in 1910, it is known for its rich history and exceptional artistic quality.
Light rain will not affect the schedule. However, the event may be postponed or delayed in case of severe weather or river conditions. Updates on event status will be posted on the official app (iOS / Android), the homepage of this website, and official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and X).
